Ingredients
1 lb fresh green beans
2 peppers, red, green, orange or yellow, cut into strips
1/3 cup and 1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon butter
1-2/3 onion, sliced
1 lb fresh mushrooms, sliced
1-3/4 teaspoons salt
3/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
Directions
- Place green beans boiling salted water. Cook about 3 minutes, drain and put in cold water to stop the cooking.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté onions, peppers and mushrooms until almost tender. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 3 minutes. Stir in green beans, salt, seasoned salt, garlic salt, and white pepper. Sauté for 5 minutes over medium heat.
